On the Mount Moriah, He will provide

Some of us we have been so lucky because God has never requested our Isaacs and we still doubt that He is Jehovah Jireh. In Genesis 22 we learn about the righteous man, Abraham who had only one heir from an old age, a product of much waiting on God and promise that was delayed but not denied.They say be careful of what you pray for, for it might come to pass. I can imagine that in his heart,when he was praying for an heir, he might have promised unconsciously that 'God if you give me a son in my old age, I would do anything for you". as human beings, we are quick to forget our promises and when the day of reckoning comes, we are not prepared.So the father of faith sets on a journey to Mount Moriah with his son Isaac. He is wondering where in his small body do i strike?Will he cry? Will he curse me? Will God change his mind?

Mount Moriah didnt move that day, and they arrived. You see, never give out your old things but your best because the provision is already there. He tied his beloved son, closed his eyes and put him on the sacrificial wood. Then the moment came.........should I or should I not? Ok i will do it and then kill myself as well? Maybe he thought that.

As he was about to do it, that Voice that sounds like thunder, that Voice that spoke to Lazarus in the grave, the Voice that spoke to the fish that swallowed Jonah, spoke and the whole nightmare ended.

God watches us when we give, so when you give be it to a begger on the street, give your best,dont worry about tomorrow because the ram is already there. he will provide on Mount Moriah even today.
