Love your enemies

Having been a victim of persecution and betrayal, this subject brings tears to my eyes.For so long I have walked with bitterness in my heart and have carried it everywhere I go.Waking up in the morning, crying to the Lord Almighty for vengeance and deliverance,doing marathon fasts, praising Him and using every spiritual weapon available and then the answer came. The Lord began to teach me about spiritual warfare against enemies.
1. The spiritual world has spiritual laws which cannot be revoked.If you want to receive ,you must ask,if you want to find you must seek,if you want the door to be opened knock.
2.If you are in a battle, you must know your enemy. Who is your enemy? Ephesian 6v 12 says 'for we do not fight against human flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of darkness'.

3.Every person is made in the likeness of God be it a rapist, a murderer, your persecutor. Like it or not God loves them as much as He loves me and you.God wants those people to be saved so that we all share in the eternal life.Jesus died for all of us.
4.We have always assumed that David prayed for God to avenge him of the persecutions by Saul eg read Psalms 25 and 27 and other such psalms.That is not correct because David saw Saul as the annointed one of God and as a apiritual father even though Saul hunted him day and night. David even hepled Saul to fight against the Philistsines in disguise.
5.Jesus said pray for your enemies and love them as you love yourself Matthew 5v 44-48.He did not mean a casual prayer but an intense prayer or give surface love for those who persecute you.How do you pray? Unless you are a witch, then you will pray for their destruction but if you pray through the power of the Holy Spirit, you will pray for their protection,prosperity and spiritual upliftment etc.
6 When you begin to pray like that, God will begin to work in that person's life and bring them closer to him.Imagine the joy of seeing that person repenting and changing for good.As they are being changed, God delivers them from those powers and that means you will also get your break through.
7.Stop fighting the wrong battles. Aim your weapons at the real enemy behind your rejection, abuse, persecution, hatred and stop fighting the people of God.Be in pain when they weep, intercede for their breakthroughs.Do not rejoice in a person's downfall.Even David mourned Saul.

Keep on praying O child of God and the reward of God is near.May the burden to pray for your persecutors rest upon you in Jesus name. Amen
